I welcome you to a sneak peak into my world of STEAM.

My passions lie in uncovering the complexities of the Earth System dynamics by taking an interdisciplinary approach at exploring the fields of  Meteorology, Climatology, Atmospheric Sciences, Physical Geography, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Sciences, while simultaneously integrating my love for the Arts and media.

My commitment to continued research in the Earth System Sciences is evident from my national and international graduate study experiences (Master of Science and PhD Degrees at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada; my Postdoctoral Research and Lecturer positions at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and subsequently, at the University of California, Irvine (UCI); international research experiences as a NASA Academy Alumna; Television Meteorologist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) News, and Crew Scientist at the Mars Desert Research Station in Hanksville, Utah.

Now as the Director of Meteorology and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at UCLA, I hope to inspire our future generations to continue pursuing their academic endeavors.
