DRONE SURVEYS IN WILDFIRE ENVIRONMENTS​

• Perform UAV missions to monitor and observe regions of interest, before, during, and after burns

• Using drones with hyperspectral, lidar, IR, and meteorological sensors for feature detection and machine learning applications

MARS DESERT RESEARCH STATION

• Crew scientist on joint Mars analogue mission 

• Conduct  fieldwork mission, utilizing extra-vehicular activity to gather fieldwork measurements and to acquire information necessary for surviving in the Martian environment 

• Funded by the Mars Society and NASA
